Watch Jamie Foxx, Stephen Jackson Participate at George Floyd Rally in Minnesota (Video)

As the world mourns the May 25th death of George Floyd, a call to action has been set. Former NBA player and host of All The Smoke podcast, Stephen Jackson has teamed up with civil rights activist Tamika Mallory and Jamie Foxx to hold a peaceful community press conference today at Minneapolis City hall.

Jackson, was especially troubled by the tragic death of Floyd, as they grew up together in Texas.

“Everybody knows me and Floyd called each other ‘twin.’ My brother was out there in Minnesota, he was changing his life. He went to Minnesota. He was driving trucks,” said Jackson on IG. “My boy was doing what he’s supposed to do. Y’all gonna kill my brother. I’m on my way to Minnesota. Whatever I can do, can’t let this ride.”

Jackson delivered an emotional tribute today to his slain friend at the rally.

Jackson also directly addressed white people.

Jamie Foxx, a Texas native, was also present and spoke regarding the race issues that our country faces today.
