Terrell Owens has been a prominent voice in NFL circles, leading Black Lives Matter protests, and speaking out on the racial and systemic issues that exist today. The former Dallas Cowboy took it one step further today when he castigated Cowboys owner Jerry Jones for not releasing a response to the issues that our country faces today.
And still NO DAMN APOLOGY!!! And still NOTHING from #jerryjones!! I hope y’all know him being silent is saying a whole lot! He doesn’t want to ruin his relationship with @realDonaldTrump!! Clearly he doesn’t think #BlackLivesMatter unless they helped him win a Super Bowl!! #FACTS https://t.co/x3CA3forjO

Jones, notoriously one of the biggest voices in the NFL, has been notably silent recently. For full disclosure, Jones is a staunch supporter of the Republican party, donating $1 million dollars to Donald Trump’s inaugural campaign in 2017 and when asked by a Post reporter at the NFL owners meetings in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this past October why he supports Republicans, Jones replied, “That’s how the country should be run but don’t (expletive) with me, all right?”
