Nashville Protests Erupt As Cop Tackles Man Off of Police Car (Video)

As the protests and riots for George Floyd across the nation continue, it became particularly violent in Nashville, Tennessee Saturday evening.

In a video that was taken in downtown Nashville, it looks like a protester climbed on top of a police car, with complete chaos ensuing afterwards.

It appears that protesters are reportedly worried about a potential gun-man spotted in skyscraper near downtown Nashville.

It was also reported that windows have been broken and profanity is graffitied on the courthouse.

George Floyd died Monday after being handcuffed and pinned to the ground by a white Minneapolis Police Department officer, Derek Chauvin, who pressed his knee on the 46-year-old man’s neck for several minutes while three other officers looked on.

Video footage of the arrest, in which Floyd is heard saying “I can’t breathe,” spread widely online, and all four officers were fired.

Chauvin was charged with third-degree murder and second-degree
manslaughter on Friday.
