On Tuesday morning, Lavar Ball made his seemingly annual return to FS1’s Undisputed with Skip and Shannon. It was a really entertaining segment because we got vintage Lavar, who made the most outlandish prediction since prognosticating that Lonzo Ball was better than Steph Curry in 2017. Ball claimed that the New Orleans Pelicans will beat the Los Angeles Lakers in the playoffs if they match up because “we have never seen Lonzo in playoff mode or revenge mode.”
.@Lavarbigballer on possible Lakers vs Pelicans playoff matchup:
“The Lakers will lose…Let me tell you why, you’ve got my son in a different mode. You’ve never seen my son in playoff mode and ain’t never seen him in revenge mode.” pic.twitter.com/xf2ou27bNY

Ball was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers last summer along with Brandon Ingram and Josh Hart for superstar power forward Anthony Davis. There is a real possibility that the Pelicans will see the Lakers in the first round. New Orleans is fighting for the eighth seed in the Western Conference playoffs, and is currently 3.5 games behind the Memphis Grizzlies for the spot. With the way that rookie sensation Zion Williamson, Ingram, Lonzo, and the crew are playing, it would certainly be one of the more memorable first round matches in recent history.
