“The Last Dance” on ESPN has everyone asking the same question from barbershop talk to heated conversations between me and my granny: Who’s the greatest NBA player of all time?
LeBron James or Michael Jordan?
The conversation has been split all over the sports media, and although it has recently been overwhelmingly lopsided in Jordan’s favor, there have been some ardent advocates in the James camp. Kendrick Perkins, Clyde Drexler, Isaiah Thomas to name a few. Well you can add one person to the debate, who’s opinion should be highly regarded.
Jason “White Chocolate” Williams fueled the fire on Thursday evening with a long instagram ย post in support of James being regarded as the best player of all time over Jordan despite the disparity in championship rings. Williams commented that his choice came down to three players: James, Jordan, and the late Kobe Bryant.
However, as Williams detailed, ultimately James was chosen because his โunique combination of physical build, basketball IQ and raw skill gives him the ability to lead the league in all five major statistical categories โif he wanted.”
James has got to be itching to get back on the court and resume play with the NBA, as he is averaging 25.7 points per game and a career high 10.6 assists per game in his age 35 season, and is a heavy title favorite should the season resume.
