The unceremonious departure of Jason Whitlock left questions among viewers.
Did he get fired? What’s he going to do next?
Whitlock answered those questions and more in an interview with Front Office Sports. In the interview Whitlock detailed his future plans, how the coronavirus pandemic impacted his contract negotiations, and in Whitlockian fashion, boasted himself as the missing voice to unify America’s bizarre race climate today.
The former television host also took a shot at his former network and colleague Skip Bayless by intimating that FS1 supported and supplemented Bayless with more promotional and marketing support, despite declining ratings for Undisputed, the show that Bayless hosts with Shannon Sharpe. Whitlock mentioned that since last season’s NFL kickoff, ratings for Speak for Yourself grew +23%, while Undisputed dropped -2.9%.
