Earlier, the attorney for ex-Minneapolis police officer Thomas Lane—Earl Gray, made an appearance on CNN to discuss the George Floyd incident that resulted in his client getting put in jail. During the interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo, Gray said, “If the public is there and they’re so in an uproar about this, they didn’t intercede either.” Well, the “six god” was watching and apparently was disgusted.
Via his Instagram story, Drake posted a photo of the interview along with the caption “Thomas Lane lawyer struggling through an ATTEMPT to justify this situation live on television…can’t even decide how to defend his client, this s**t is foul to watch.”
The attorney later had a feeble attempt at retracting his statement after being challenged by Cuomo.
