Diddy Reveals Amazing Story About Biggie on the Anniversary of His Death

Rest in Peace to One of the Greatest to Ever do it.

Today marks the 23rd anniversary of Christopher Wallace aka Biggie Smalls’ tragic death. The Notorious BIG was gunned down in Los Angeles, California on March 9, 1997. As everyone knows, Biggie gave the world two classic hip-hop albums, the last of which featured one of his biggest hits to date: Hypnotize. In the story provided by his friend and former Bad Boy CEO Sean Combs (Diddy), he detailed the story of them in the studio on one occasion. Biggie was having writers block apparently and openly discussed retiring. In vintage 90’s Diddy the Hype Man fashion, he said that he praised Biggie for being the greatest of all time, and to quit being nonsensical. Afterwards, Biggie apparently went back in the booth and created the hit record Hypnotize. This was apparently all captured in the moment with a throwback photo.

Rest in peace to one of the greatest to ever do it.
